The X1 Credit Card has various features that set it apart. For starters, it’s one of the few credit cards that doesn’t use your credit score to evaluate your creditworthiness or credit limit. Instead, it assesses your existing and prospective revenue, resulting in a five-fold increase in credit limit. This article outlines X1 Credit Card Review.

Because X1 underwrites based on income rather than credit score, it may appeal to those building or repairing credit. Although X1 performs a soft draw when you apply, if you are approved for the card, the company will report the new account to the credit bureaus when you accept your conditions.

The X1 system does not examine credit, but rather income.

Earn 2 points every dollar spent

* Earn 3 points per dollar spent if you spend $15,000 or more.

No introductory APR or welcome bonus

The X1 Card has one of the most generous reward structures we’ve seen on a no-annual-fee card. For purchases totaling $15,000 or more in a calendar year, the card receives 3 points each dollar spent. You can also earn 4 points per dollar if you introduce a friend to the card. That’s a great deal if it lasts after the card launches.

For some, the X1 Card’s main flaw is that you can only use it with X1 partners.

There are over 100 partners so far, including flights, Airbnb, and businesses like IKEA, Etsy, and Sephora, and each point is worth one cent. As, if you want pure cash back to spend however you want, or if you prefer different options, this card will not be a good fit for you despite its high reward program.

Redeeming Rewards According to X1 Card Co-founder and CEO Deepak Rao, rewards are worth between 1 and 2 cents each point. Rewards can only be redeemed by making purchases at X1’s partner stores and receiving a statement credit.

Forbes Advisor analyzes data from government organizations to assess baseline income and spending averages across multiple categories to calculate the X1 Card’s rewards potential. The 70th percentile of wage-earning households earns $100,172 and spends $52,820. If half of these expenses are charged to this card, the total annual spending is $26,410.

A total of 79,230 points would be earned in the first year, assuming an annual card spend of $15,000 or more. Plus, every month you refer a new cardholder, you get an extra point on every transaction, for a total of 4 points every dollar spent.
