In order to get the best results, you should do this for
1.This card is best if you have had a credit history for at least a year.
2. You can have a lot of the same credit card from BoA at the same time. After at least 90 days, you can’t get a new credit card because it will be automatically canceled.
3. The 2/3/4 rule: BoA will only let you get two cards per rolling two months; three cards per rolling 12 months; and four cards per rolling 24 months. In this case, their computer system hasn’t been fully updated yet, so you may not be turned down for this rule because of this. The account may be closed because it was approved in error at first, and you may not be able to open it again.
5. If you have or had this card in the last 24 months, you won’t be able to get this card.
BoA Alaska Sign Up Offer: Conclusion
This card is good for people who want to get Alaska Miles, or people who fly a lot to Alaska. 40k+$100 sign-up bonus is a good deal because Alaska Miles can be used for a lot of things. The reward rate for spending isn’t great, so unless you fly with them a lot or can use the Companion Fare, it’s not a good choice to keep.
